Air Force Auxiliary

The Air Force Auxiliary, commonly known as the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), is a volunteer organization supporting the U.S. Air Force. It focuses on three main areas: conducting search and rescue missions, providing youth education through leadership and aviation programs, and supporting community services like disaster response. Members, known as cadets and seniors, participate in training and activities that promote aerospace education and emergency preparedness. The CAP serves as both a resource for the Air Force and a way for citizens to contribute to their communities while gaining skills related to aviation, leadership, and service.
