Aguascalientes Convention

The Aguascalientes Convention, held in 1914 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, was a significant gathering during the Mexican Revolution. It brought together various revolutionary factions to discuss plans for the future of Mexico, following the ousting of dictator Victoriano Huerta. The convention aimed to create a unified, democratic government and address land reform and social justice. However, disagreements emerged among the factions, particularly between more moderate leaders and those pushing for radical changes. Eventually, these conflicts led to a division that influenced the course of the revolution and the emergence of different political movements in Mexico.
