Adjustment of Status Process

Adjustment of Status (AOS) is a process that allows an individual in the United States to change their immigration status to that of a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) without leaving the country. Typically, this applies to those who are already in the U.S. and have a family member or employer sponsoring them. The process involves submitting forms, providing supporting documents, attending a biometrics appointment, and possibly an interview.
