Adivasi Panchayat refers to local self-governance bodies specifically designed for Adivasi (indigenous) communities in India. These councils empower tribal populations to make decisions regarding their land, resources, and cultural practices. They operate under the framework of the Panchayati Raj system, which includes three tiers of government—village, block, and district levels.
