Zosimos of Panopolis

Zosimos of Panopolis was an early Egyptian alchemist and mystical thinker from the 3rd century AD. He is regarded as one of the first recorded practitioners of alchemy, blending practical experimentation with spiritual symbolism. Zosimos sought to understand the nature of matter and transformation, aiming to create substances like gold and the philosopher's stone.
