Zone Files

Zone files are databases used by domain name systems (DNS) to map domain names (like example.com) to their corresponding IP addresses, enabling browsers to locate websites. They contain records such as the address record (A or AAAA) that links a domain to an IP, mail exchange records for email servers, and other related information.
