ZOB (Zydowska Organizacja Bojowa)

ZOB (Zydowska Organizacja Bojowa), or Jewish Fighting Organization, was a resistance group formed during World War II in Nazi-occupied Poland. Comprising mainly Jewish fighters, its goal was to oppose the Nazis and protect Jewish communities from persecution. Established in 1942, ZOB coordinated acts of sabotage and participated in armed resistance, including the famous Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1943. The organization aimed to resist destructively imposed racial policies and preserve dignity and hope among Jewish people amid the Holocaust.
