
Ziaur Rahman
Ziaur Rahman was a prominent Bangladeshi military officer and politician who played a key role in Bangladesh’s independence movement. After the country's liberation from Pakistan in 1971, he became a leader and later served as the President of Bangladesh from 1977 until his assassination in 1981.
