Ziaur Rahman

Ziaur Rahman was a prominent Bangladeshi military officer and politician who played a key role in Bangladesh’s independence movement. After the country's liberation from Pakistan in 1971, he became a leader and later served as the President of Bangladesh from 1977 until his assassination in 1981. Known for restoring stability and initiating economic reforms, he also founded political parties that shaped Bangladesh's democratic development.
