Zarathustra (philosopher)

Zarathustra, also known as Zoroaster, was an ancient Persian philosopher and the founder of Zoroastrianism, one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions. He lived around 1000 BCE, although dates vary. Zarathustra taught about the duality of good and evil, emphasizing the importance of individuals choosing to follow the path of truth and righteousness. Central to his philosophy is the worship of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god, and the belief in free will, accountability, and the eventual triumph of good over evil. His ideas have influenced various religious and philosophical traditions throughout history.
