Zabiha (the method of animal slaughter)
Zabiha is a traditional Islamic method of slaughtering animals for food, emphasizing humane treatment and spiritual principles. The process involves swiftly cutting the animal's throat with a sharp knife to sever major blood vessels, ensuring rapid blood loss and unconsciousness. It is done while invoking the name of Allah (God), typically saying "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah). The method aims to minimize pain and suffering, promote cleanliness, and ensure the meat is considered permissible (halal) for Muslims. Proper adherence to Zabiha reflects compassion, respect for life, and obedience to religious guidelines.
