Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 2011 by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, it emerged after the death of his father, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, a popular former Chief Minister. The party focuses on welfare programs for farmers and workers, aiming to uplift marginalized communities. YSRCP gained prominence in the 2019 state elections, securing a significant majority in the Legislative Assembly, with a platform emphasizing social justice, economic development, and governance reforms.
