Yervoy

Yervoy (ipilimumab) is a type of immunotherapy used to treat certain cancers, such as melanoma. It works by helping the immune system recognize and attack cancer cells more effectively. Yervoy targets a protein called CTLA-4 on immune cells, removing a “brake” that prevents the immune system from overreacting. This boosts immune activity against tumors.
