World Zionist Organization

The World Zionist Organization (WZO) was founded in 1897 to promote the development of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. It serves as an umbrella body representing Jews worldwide, coordinating efforts like supporting Jewish immigration, settlement, and cultural revival. The organization played a key role in establishing institutions, fostering Jewish identity, and advocating for the creation and maintenance of the State of Israel.
