William Holman Hunt
William Holman Hunt (1827–1910) was an English painter and one of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a group formed in 1848 that sought to return to the detailed, vibrant, and honest portrayal of nature and human emotion found in art before the Renaissance artist Raphael. Hunt’s works often featured rich colors and intricate details, focusing on themes of spirituality and moral narratives. He is known for iconic paintings such as "The Awakening Conscience" and "The Light of the World." His emphasis on realism and symbolism paved the way for later artistic movements.
