Wikinger Wind Farm

The Wikinger Wind Farm is an offshore wind energy project located in the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Germany. Comprising 70 wind turbines, it has a total capacity of 350 megawatts, enough to power around 350,000 homes. The project is part of Germany's efforts to increase renewable energy use and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Construction began in 2015, and the farm became operational in 2017. By harnessing wind energy, the Wikinger Wind Farm contributes to sustainable energy production and helps combat climate change.
