Whitewater Investigation

The Whitewater Investigation was a federal inquiry into the real estate investments and business dealings of President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, in the 1980s and 1990s. Authorities examined whether any illegal activities, such as fraud or misconduct, occurred related to their involvement in a failed Arkansas development called Whitewater. The investigation aimed to determine if the Clintons or their associates engaged in criminal behavior. While some individuals were charged and convicted on related matters, the investigation concluded in 2000 with no evidence of wrongdoing by the Clintons themselves.
