White-ball cricket
White-ball cricket refers to limited-overs formats of the sport, primarily One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 (T20) matches. Unlike traditional Test cricket, which can last up to five days, white-ball games have a set number of overs—50 in ODIs and 20 in T20s—making them shorter and more fast-paced. Players wear colored uniforms, and the ball is white for visibility under lights. The objective remains the same: score more runs than the opposing team. White-ball cricket is popular for its entertainment value, attracting large audiences and featuring many international tournaments, including the Cricket World Cup and T20 World Cup.
