Known for his loyalty and bravery, he initially served the Shu Han kingdom under Liu Bei and later under Liu Bei's successors. Despite his contributions, he was involved in political intrigue and accusations of disloyalty, which led to his execution. His legacy is remembered as a capable and courageous leader, although his career ended tragically amid the complex power struggles of his time.
