Wawel Dragon

The Wawel Dragon is a famous creature from Polish folklore, specifically linked to Wawel Hill in Kraków. To rid the town of this menace, a clever young man named Krak decided to trick the dragon by feeding it a sheep stuffed with sulfur. When the dragon ate the sulfur, it became so thirsty that it drank from the nearby Vistula River until it burst.
