Watanabe Shikō

Watanabe Shikō was a prominent Japanese painter of the Edo period, known for his skill in both traditional and Western-style painting. Born in 1747, he became associated with the ukiyo-e genre, which captures the beauty of everyday life and landscapes in Japan. Shikō is particularly recognized for his serene and evocative landscapes, often blending natural elements with human activity.
