Wardenclyffe Tower

Wardenclyffe Tower was an early electrical transmission tower designed by inventor Nikola Tesla in the early 1900s, located in Shoreham, New York. Tesla aimed to demonstrate the possibility of wireless transmission of electricity and communication signals over long distances. The tower stood about 187 feet tall but was never fully operational due to funding issues and technical challenges. Ultimately, it was dismantled in 1917.
