Władysław Anders

Władysław Anders was a Polish military leader and patriot, best known for leading Polish forces during World War II. He commanded the Polish Armed Forces in the East, notably reorganizing the Polish Army after Soviet forces released him from captivity. Anders played a key role in the Battle of Monte Cassino in Italy, helping to break through German defenses. His leadership promoted Polish independence and resilience during wartime hardships.
