Voldemort is a fictional character from J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series. He is the main antagonist, known for his dark magic and quest for immortality. Originally named Tom Riddle, he became a powerful wizard who sought to dominate the wizarding world and eradicate those he considered unworthy, especially Muggle-borns (wizards born to non-magical parents). Voldemort's fear of death led him to create Horcruxes—objects containing fragments of his soul—making him nearly impossible to kill.
