Voice to Parliament

Voice to Parliament is a proposed change to the Australian Constitution that would establish an Indigenous advisory body, called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. This body would provide Indigenous Australians with a formal, constitutionally recognized way to offer advice and influence government decisions affecting their communities. The goal is to improve policy outcomes, promote reconciliation, and ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have a say in matters that impact their lives, fostering greater respect and inclusion within Australia's democratic system.
