VLF Transmitter
A VLF (Very Low Frequency) transmitter is a device that sends radio signals in the extremely low frequency range, typically from 3 to 30 kHz. These signals can travel long distances by bouncing off the Earth’s ionosphere and conducting efficiently through water and ground. VLF transmitters are mainly used for communication with submarines, navigation, and scientific research, as their signals can penetrate deep into water and cover vast areas. Despite their low frequencies, they are powerful, continuous, and capable of reaching remote locations where other communication methods are less effective.
