VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier)

A VLCC, or Very Large Crude Carrier, is a massive ship used to transport large quantities of crude oil across oceans. Typically measuring around 320 meters (about 1,050 feet) in length, it can carry up to 2 million barrels of oil. These ships are designed for efficiency and safety in moving oil from production areas to refineries around the world. Due to their size, VLCCs require deep-water ports and specialized navigation.
