Vishishtadvaita
Vishishtadvaita, meaning "qualified non-dualism," is a philosophy within Hinduism, primarily taught by Ramanuja. It suggests that the ultimate reality, Brahman, is both everything and personalized, possessing qualities like consciousness and bliss. While individual souls and the physical universe are real and distinct, they are also inseparable parts of Brahman, like sparks within fire. This philosophy emphasizes devotion and that liberation (moksha) is achieved through loving surrender to God. It balances the idea that the individual is unique yet fundamentally connected to the divine, promoting a harmonious relationship between the soul and God.
