Virginia Wine Board

The Virginia Wine Board (VWB) is a state-established organization that supports Virginia’s wine industry. It promotes local wineries, vineyards, and wine tourism through marketing, educational programs, and research. Funded mainly by a small sales tax on wine, the VWB helps increase awareness of Virginia wines nationally and internationally. Its goal is to foster growth, quality, and reputation of Virginia’s wine sector, benefiting wineries, retailers, and consumers alike while contributing to the state's economy.
