Vinaya

Vinaya refers to the set of rules and regulations in Buddhism that govern the monastic community, known as the Sangha. It is part of the Tripitaka, or Pali Canon, and outlines ethical conduct, communal harmony, and proper behavior for monks and nuns. The Vinaya helps maintain discipline within the monastic community, encourages mindfulness in interactions, and supports adherence to the teachings of the Buddha. By establishing clear guidelines, it aims to foster a conducive environment for spiritual practice and the overall development of its members.
