Villanelle

A villanelle is a structured form of poetry consisting of 19 lines, organized into five tercets (three-line stanzas) followed by a quatrain (four-line stanza). It features a specific rhyme scheme (ABA) and a repetition of the first and third lines throughout the poem. Specifically, the first line is repeated as the second line of the second and fourth tercets, and the third line is repeated as the last line of the quatrain.
