Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH)

The Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program combines housing assistance with supportive services to help homeless veterans secure and maintain permanent housing. It provides eligible veterans with rental vouchers through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In addition to financial support, VASH offers access to counseling, health care, and other resources aimed at addressing the specific needs of veterans. This holistic approach helps them reintegrate into society and improve their overall well-being, ultimately reducing homelessness among those who have served in the military.
