Vertical Jump Test
The Vertical Jump Test measures your ability to leap upward from a standstill, assessing leg strength and power. To perform it, you start by standing next to a marked wall or device, reach your arm up to mark the highest point you can reach while standing flat-footed. Then, from a crouched position, jump as high as possible, trying to touch or reach above the initial mark. The difference between your standing reach and your jump height indicates your vertical leap. This test is commonly used in sports and fitness to evaluate athletic ability.
