Ventricular rhythms

Ventricular rhythms are heartbeats that originate from the ventricles, the lower chambers of the heart. Normally, the heart's electrical signals start in a specific area called the sinoatrial (SA) node, but in ventricular rhythms, the signals come from the ventricles themselves or nearby. This can cause the heart to beat irregularly, too quickly, or inefficiently, potentially reducing blood flow to the body. Such rhythms may indicate underlying heart problems and require medical attention to assess their cause and determine appropriate treatment.
