Velocity
Velocity is a measure of how quickly an object changes its position in a specific direction. It combines speed—the rate at which something moves—with direction, making it a vector quantity. For example, if a car is traveling north at 60 miles per hour, its velocity is 60 mph north. Unlike speed, which only tells you how fast an object is moving, velocity provides information about both the rate and the direction of movement. This concept is useful in physics to understand and predict an object's motion in a given direction over time.
