VCR (Video Cassette Recorder)

A VCR, or Video Cassette Recorder, is a machine used to record and play movies or TV shows on magnetic tape inside a cassette. It allows users to record broadcasts and watch them later at their convenience, as well as re-watch previously recorded content. The device connects to a television, enabling easy control of playback, recording, and navigation through videos. Although largely replaced by digital methods like DVRs and streaming services, VCRs were essential for personal video recording and playback for several decades.
