Valkyries

Valkyries are figures from Norse mythology known as warrior maidens. Their primary role is to choose those who may die and those who may live in battles. Once selected, they escort the souls of fallen warriors to Valhalla, the great hall in Asgard, where these heroes prepare for Ragnarok, the end of the world. Valkyries are often depicted as brave and noble figures, symbolizing honor and valor in combat. They are associated with fate and the strong belief in the warrior ethos prevalent in Norse culture.
