United States Attorney
A United States Attorney is a federal prosecutor who represents the U.S. government in all criminal and civil cases within a specific federal district. They are responsible for enforcing federal laws, prosecuting individuals or entities accused of federal crimes, and handling federal civil litigation involving the government. Appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate, each U.S. Attorney manages a team of assistant attorneys and works closely with federal law enforcement agencies to ensure justice is served within their jurisdiction.
