The United States Army Ballistic Research Laboratory (BRL) was a military research facility dedicated to studying and improving the accuracy, effectiveness, and safety of missile and artillery systems. It focused on research related to ballistics, guidance, and weapon physics to ensure reliable performance in combat situations. BRL developed advanced testing methods, computer simulations, and analytical techniques to support the development of military technology. In 1992, it was merged into the Army Research Laboratory, which continues to conduct research on various defense technologies today.
