Ultrasound Technology

Ultrasound technology uses sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. A device called a transducer emits high-frequency sound waves, which bounce off organs and tissues. These echoes are captured and converted into visual images on a screen, allowing healthcare professionals to examine and diagnose various conditions, particularly during pregnancy or to assess organs like the heart and kidneys. Ultrasound is non-invasive, does not use radiation, and is generally safe, making it a valuable tool in modern medicine for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
