Udasi

Udasi is a spiritual movement within Sikhism founded by Baba Sri Chand, the son of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism. The term "Udasi" means "detached" or "ascetic," reflecting a focus on spiritual renunciation and meditation. Udasis emphasize a disciplined lifestyle, often living in communities that combine Sikh teachings with elements of asceticism. They seek to attain spiritual realization and teach about the importance of devotion, service, and devotion to God.
