Two embryo transfer

Two embryo transfer (ET) is a reproductive technique used in assisted reproductive technology, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). After fertilization, embryos are created in a lab, and two are selected for transfer into a woman's uterus. This approach aims to increase the chances of pregnancy, although it may also lead to multiple pregnancies (twins or more). The decision to transfer two embryos balances the desire for a successful outcome with potential risks. Advances in fertility treatments now often allow for single embryo transfers to reduce these risks while still achieving high success rates.
