Twin Prime Conjecture

The Twin Prime Conjecture suggests that there are infinitely many pairs of prime numbers that are exactly 2 apart, like (3, 5) or (11, 13). These pairs are called twin primes. Despite extensive mathematical evidence and progress, mathematicians have not yet proven that such pairs continue endlessly as numbers grow larger. The conjecture remains one of the biggest open questions in number theory, aiming to understand the distribution of prime numbers and the pattern of these close-knit prime pairs across all natural numbers.
