Tuning Forks

A tuning fork is a metal instrument shaped like a two-pronged fork, designed to produce a specific pitch when struck. When you hit it against a surface, it vibrates, creating a clear sound and a musical tone. Tuning forks are commonly used in music to help musicians tune their instruments, as well as in various scientific and medical applications, such as auditory tests. The frequency of the sound produced is determined by the fork's size and shape, typically corresponding to a standard pitch like "A440," which is the A note above middle C, vibrating at 440 hertz.
