Tropic
The tropic refers to the region of Earth located between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn, roughly between 23.5° North and 23.5° South of the equator. These areas experience the Sun’s most direct rays during the year, resulting in warm or hot climates year-round. The Tropics are characterized by high temperatures, high humidity, and often lush vegetation. The Sun is directly overhead at solar noon only within these regions, which influences their weather patterns, ecosystems, and day length throughout the year.
