Trial Process
The trial process is a legal procedure where a dispute is resolved in court. It typically involves several key steps: first, the case is filed, and both sides (the plaintiff and the defendant) present their arguments and evidence. This is usually followed by jury selection if a jury trial is held. Each side then presents its case, including witness testimonies and cross-examinations. After both sides have presented, closing arguments are made. Finally, the jury (or judge in a bench trial) deliberates and reaches a verdict, deciding the outcome based on the evidence presented during the trial.
