Travancore
Travancore was a princely state in southwestern India, existing from the 18th century until 1949, when it integrated into the Indian Union. Known for its well-organized governance, rich cultural heritage, and progressive reforms, it covered parts of present-day Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The state had a monarchy led by the Maharaja and was notable for advancements in education, health, and social justice.
