Transitional Sovereignty Council

The Transitional Sovereignty Council is a governing body established in Sudan as part of a peace agreement to lead the country during a transitional period. It is a collective authority composed of both civilian and military representatives, aimed at guiding Sudan towards stable democratic governance. Its role includes creating policies, overseeing government functions, and ensuring a peaceful transition from previous conflict or authoritarian rule to a more inclusive and democratic system. The council acts as a temporary leadership structure until the country can hold full elections and establish permanent government institutions.
