Transducers

Transducers are devices that convert energy from one form to another. In ultrasound technology, they transform electrical energy into sound waves and vice versa. When the ultrasound transducer sends sound waves into the body, these waves bounce off internal structures, like organs and tissues. The transducer then captures the returning sound waves and converts them back into electrical signals. A computer processes these signals to create images, allowing healthcare providers to visualize what’s happening inside the body, which is essential for diagnostics and monitoring health.
