Transcendental philosophy
Transcendental philosophy focuses on the conditions that make knowledge and experience possible. It examines how our understanding of reality is shaped by inherent structures of thought and perception. Primarily associated with Immanuel Kant, it's based on the idea that while we can know the world through our senses, our understanding is influenced by our mind's own frameworks. This means there are aspects of reality that exist beyond our direct experience, which we can only approach indirectly through concepts like time, space, and causality, thereby distinguishing between what we can know and what lies beyond our grasp.
