Traditional Animation
Traditional animation, also known as hand-drawn animation, involves creating each frame of a film by drawing it by hand on paper or celluloid sheets. Artists meticulously craft sequences of images with slight differences to simulate motion when played in rapid succession. This process requires careful planning, skilled drawing, and a keen eye for movement and timing. Once completed, these images are photographed or scanned and compiled to produce a fluid, animated story. Traditional animation has a rich history in the film industry and serves as the foundation for many iconic animated works, although it has largely been supplanted by digital techniques today.
